How Do Electric Cigarettes work?

Sunday, November 15th, 2009 | Permalink

Electric cigarettes are a new revolutionary technology that allows traditional smokers to enjoy the act of smoking anywhere that is currently not acceptable with tobacco products.

Electronic cigarettes uses a battery powered atomizer which in turn vaporizes the ingredients of the smokeless cigarette cartridge. This vaporization process simulates actual smoke, with no second hand smoke that is harmful to others.

There are three main parts in an electric cigarette:

* a lithium battery

* an ultrasound vaporizer (with a smart chip controller and airflow sensor)

* a mouthpiece that holds the cigarette cartridge.

Here is how it works:

The vaporizer employs “microelectronic atomization technology” that delivers a smoke-like vapor. This vapor looks and amazingly tastes like real cigarette smoke, then just evaporates after a few seconds. The battery can easily last for hours and they also rechargeable. The mouthpiece holds a few different types of cartridges. For those of you whom prefer a smoking experience without the nicotine, then there is an option of different nicotine-free cartridges available. Tobacco smokers who are looking for a more traditional smoking experience can opt for the full strength nicotine cartridges.

There are also many different tasty flavors available as well which include cherry, vanilla, mocha, chocolate, apple, menthol, etc. If your on a diet and fidgety for something to snack on without worrying about calories, this could be a great idea!

A typical flavor/nicotine cartridge will last as long as a dozen traditional tobacco cigarettes. This can make electronic cigarette smoking not only healthier via eliminating the tar and carbon monoxide, but also more affordable than traditional cigarette smoking.
